We are exploring how AI is and will impact K12 education - how we teach AI to students, how AI will be used in learning and teaching and how AI will change how teachers, education leaders and education institutions work. 

Our aim is to start to ask questions, explore ideas and start conversations that will make the real world, and near future, implications of AI in K12 education real and meaningful.

COURSES WE'RE MAKING

We've developed a platform of microcourses that allow students to learn about key concepts in AI.

The microcourses cover many of the important concepts in AI. They cover not just the concepts, but ask students to build AI applications using the same technologies that are used to build real-world AI. 

The courses were developed by Haileybury teachers Toan Hynh, Jeff Plum and Jerry Daly working with Dr Peter Thomas.

We'll also be writing about our motivations for developing these courses, how we did it, and what it might mean for teaching AI in a K12 context.
